Pictured while still going strong, this 1957 Viscount was retired in December 1973. United Aircraft Services bought 24 of Air Canada's Viscounts in April 1974 and a sale to Air Caravane fell through while stored at Cartierville airport. Eventually sold to Zaire Aero Service in November 1978, it was acquired as a source of spares for their other Viscounts.
