This was the fourth EA-6B and the first new build Prowler (the first three were modified A-6Es). First flying with the Weapons Systems Naval Aviation Test Center, Patuxent River, MD, it was transferred back and forth between active Squadrons at NAS Whidbey Island and test centers in Patuxent River and China Lake. Ferried from NAS Patuxent River to the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, FL in 2010, it was the oldest serving Prowler when retired. It's displayed at the museum with Navy markings on the right side and Marines on the left. This photo is copyright © Gary Vincent, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
