On display on the flight deck of CV-10 USS Yorktown at Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum. VA-75 "Sunday Punchers" was the first squadron to deploy in 1965 with the A-6A Intruder aboard CV-62 USS Independence during the Vietnam War. It received the A-6E in 1973. Building on its record in the Vietnam War, VA-75 further distinguished itself as the most decorated Navy squadron of Operation Desert Storm. It operated the Intruder till the unit was disestablished in 1997. This photo is copyright © Arjun Sarup, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
