On static display at Wings India 2024. The Model 182 was introduced in 1956 as a spinoff of the Model 180. It featured a tricycle landing gear and redesigned cowling. The deluxe Skylane was introduced in 1958 with wheel fairings. The exhaust was moved to the right side of the improved cowling. This model is powered by a turbocharged and fuel-injected 235 hp Lycoming O-540 six cylinder engine that added 15.5 inches to the cowling length over the earlier Continental-powered fixed-gear 182 Skylane.
