Delivered new to Eastern Airlines in 1952 as N452A. Became N442D of Graubart Aviation in 1961. Joined Ray Charles Enterprises in 1966 as N923RC. Re-registered as N9234C in 1967. Subsequent owners included Flamingo Airlines whose basic colours it still carries. Joined Frontier Airways in 1975, one of a number of Martin 404s eventually assembled for aerial crop dressing work. The sadly fatal takeoff crash of N40443 in 1986 at Buffalo, WY led to operations ceasing and the remaining aircraft being put into storage at Sheridan. This photo is copyright © David A.
