Delivered new to Eastern Airlines in 1952 as N452A. Became N442D of Graubart Aviation in 1961. Joined Ray Charles Enterprises in 1966 as N923RC. Re-registered as N9234C in 1967. Subsequent owners included Flamingo Airlines whose basic colours it still carries. Joined Frontier Airways in 1975, one of a number of Martin 404s eventually assembled for aerial crop dressing work. The sadly fatal takeoff crash of N40443 in 1986 at Buffalo, WY led to operations ceasing and the remaining aircraft being put into storage at Sheridan.

Martin 404s N461M, N462M and N9234C photographed withdrawn from use and stored at Sheridan County Airport, Sheridan, WY., on 28-05-1998. N462M, in the centre, was the only one to make it out intact when it was ferried to the Pima Air & Space Museum at Tucson in 2002. The others were dismantled on site with the forward fuselage N9234C going to the now defunct National Museum of Commercial Aviation at Forest Park, GA., whilst the remains of N461M, which lingered at Sheridan at least as late as 2010, have recently resurfaced at Greybull, WY.

One of two M404s that were long-time residents of the airport. This aircraft was broken up in 2010 or 2011.

Literally out in the weeds, this aircraft is one of two M404s long stored at the airport at the time. If you look carefully, you can still see vestiges of Ozark Airlines markings on the tail and the forward fuselage. N461M was eventually broken up in 2011 or 2012.
