Parked on the Tracor ramp at Mojave. Built as an F-4E-42-MC and saw service in Vietnam. Upgraded to an F-4G Wild Weasel. Allocated to 563rd TFTS, 37th TFW, in 1987. By 1994 active with the 190th FS, 124th FG, Idaho ANG, at Boise Airport, ID. Withdrawn to AMARC as AAFP1048 in April 1996. Transferred in early 1997 to Tracor Flight Systems at Mojave where it was converted to QF-4G drone AF149. Moved after conversion to Tyndall AFB, Florida, where it was expended as a target in a missile test on 13 May 1998. This photo is copyright © David A.
