The Harbour Air seaplane base (YWS / CAE5) on Green Lake near the resort town of Whistler is one of the most scenic points served by North America's largest all-seaplane airline. Scheduled and charter air services were operated by Whistler Air for many years until the airline and its single DHC-3T Turbo Otter (C-GEND) were purchased by Harbour Air in May 2012 (two years after Harbour Air acquired competitor West Coast Air). The floatplane base is next door to the Nicklaus North Golf Course in Whistler which has a parking lot and terrific outdoor dinning patio. This photo is copyright © Kenneth I.
