This is the second Gripen prototype and the oldest extant. It was painted black to make it move visible on the Saab testing film and flew for 461 hours between May 1990 and December 1999. It had been on display for a long time at the Flygvapenmuseum at Linköping - Malmen (ESCF) but is now at Aeroseum. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
