Delivered to the USAAF as 45-11471. Sold as N5481V then N332 in 1962. Converted to racing configuartion. In a fatal crash near Borrego Springs, CA in 1979. Rebuilt using the fuselage of IDFAF 69 & wing of IDFAF 28. Operated by Alan Preston Racing from 1984 to 1987. Rebuilt as a TF-51D at Van Nuys, CA from 1995-7. Reregistered as N270MS in 1997, N51VW in 1998, N51UR in 1999 and N51ZM in 2006.
