Originally serialed 26096 when delivered to the RCAF in February 1964, this Tutor was an instructional airframe (A718) when the type's designation was changed to CT-114. Returned to flying status for training in 1976 with serial 114096, the aircraft was stored after BAE CT-155 Hawks took over initial jet training for the Air Force in 2000. Mindful of the stresses of aerobatic flying, the Snowbirds aerobatic team rotate lower time aiframes into the team from time to time. 114096 was converted to Snowbird configuration in 2013.
