The Flygvapenmuseum's policy's to only display aircraft types that have been used in the defence of the Swedish homeland, with this MiG-15 being the only exception. It is on display because a Soviet MiG-15 shot down a Swedish signal intelligence DC-3 (Douglas Tp79, 79001) and a rescue PBY Catalina over the Baltic Sea in 1952. This Polish-built Fagot was previously 25 with the Polish AF and arrived at the Flygvapenmuseum in 1987. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
