The photo was taken by Norman Rigler whilst "Jason" was parked at Purchase & Vine's Farm, Walisdown, Bournemouth, having landed on 28 August 1930. Amy Johnson was President of the local Young Airmen's League, she left for Shoreham on 30 August and made her last flight in it from Portsmouth to Stag Lane on 4 September 1930. It is believed it never flew again and was delivered to the Science Museum, London, on 21 January 1931. This photo was added on 2 October 2024, and has since been viewed 168 times. |
