Jean Batten's Percival Gull Six, G-ADPR, seen at RAF Kemble in its RAF impressment camouflage and serial. It was sold to Hunting-Percival Aircraft Ltd and restored at Luton. Eventually presented to the Shuttleworth Collection it was disposed of in 1995, re-registered as ZK-DPR it was flown once after arrival in New Zealand but now hangs from the roof of the terminal building at Auckland International Airport.

This aircraft survived WW2 and registered in Spain as EC-AKO on 1 December 1954 to Ignacio Soler de la Riva; operated by Aeromar, Barcelona. After retirement from use it was stored. Found in a barn in 1998 it was acquired by Museo de l'Air, Cuatro Vientos. Restored to display standards (2002-2004); painted in Spanish Republican camouflage as "40-1".

The photo was taken by Norman Rigler whilst "Jason" was parked at Purchase & Vine's Farm, Walisdown, Bournemouth, having landed on 28 August 1930. Amy Johnson was President of the local Young Airmen's League, she left for Shoreham on 30 August and made her last flight in it from Portsmouth to Stag Lane on 4 September 1930. It is believed it never flew again and was delivered to the Science Museum, London, on 21 January 1931.

First registered 19.4.29 as G-AAGL to the Cierva Autogyro Co Ltd., London (aircraft actually based at Hamble, Hampshire). G-AAGL was one of the original three prototypes, powered by an 80 hp Armstrong Siddeley Genet radial piston engine. Built at Hamble by Avro, as a contractor - hence referred to in A.V. Roe production records as an "Avro 620". Written off (damaged beyond repair) 21.9.29 when caught by a gust of wind and blown backwards, cartwheeling, fortunately ending up on its undercarriage, the pilot, Mr A. H. C. Operated by Air Trips. British Empire Air Displays air display held at Westwood Heath near Coventry. Between 12,000 and 15,000 spectators saw an accident to Miss Pauline Gower flying her Spartan Three Seater, G-ABKK, the aircraft was written off that afternoon when it was hit by Lionel Gray in his Avro 504N, G-AECR. They were taking off at the same time but in different directions. The Avro landed safely but the Spartan crashed in a wheat field and Pauline Gower was badly injured. The aircraft was not repaired and written off.

10th May 1936. Tom Campbell Black's British Empire Air Display visited Westwood, Heath near Coventry. Undercarriage struck a hedge when taking off. The pilot circled the field and landed with minimal damage and no injury on the one remaining undercarriage leg. (Aviation in Warwickshire Between the Wars by Alfred Jenks 2006) G-ADDT was lost in a fatal accident at Porthcawl in July 1936.
