The one time CF-TIK and C-FTIK with Air Canada,with whom it served for 25 years, it was converted to cargo configuration in 1980 and re-engined with CFM56-2 high bypass turbofans to become a DC-8-73F in 1984. Acquired by DHL in 1994 and operated for them by Astar Air Cargo from 2003, it was retired to Kingman in June 2012 and thought to have been scrapped there the following year.
