Later named Amen! 122466 was back at its US base Patuxent River when it was ordered back to Antarctica to search for a missing UC-1 Otter. 122466 crashed on February 8, 1956, in Venezuela following a double engine failure. The crew survived as did the crew of the missing Otter. Both aircraft were destroyed in their respective accidents.
