Still current at the time of upload. This Tiger Moth is reported to have suffered 13 accidents over its long career, four with the RNZAF and the remainder in civilian hands. This Canberra made its first flight on 10 January 1957. In 1967, it operated for a few months from Phan Rang AB as part of the 35th TFW during the Vietnam war. It was wfu in the RAAF in 1982 and flew to New Zealand on 22 August 1984, partly escorted by RNZAF Skyhawks. Since then it is on display, in beautiful condition and displayed in the museum as if operational during a night mission.

This was RNZAF's first MB339, delivered on 19 April 1991 to 14sqn at Ohakea. In 1994 it made a wheels up landing after which it was returned to Italy for repairs. Only in 1997, the aircraft was active again in New Zealand. It was wfu on 13 December 2001. It was flown from Ohakea to Woodbourne for storage on 30 July 2004 after which it was sent to the museum at Wigram.
