Having become United's second Caravelle N1002U in June 1961, here it is back in the USA in basic Transavia colours having been acquired by Ronald J Clark, ex PH-TRY. Note the 'T' logo altered to 'I', probably reflecting the 1976 intention of Independent Air to operate the aircraft for the Atlanta Skylarks. After its long period of storage, ferried to Tucson in September 1980 for a a proposed sale to Mexico which then fell through over a wing spar problem. Transferred to The Go Group in October 1984, metallic overall and eventually scrapped in 2010 after several ownership changes.
