Part of a French order for Bostons diverted after the fall of France to the RAF as Havoc Mk.1 Initially used armaments trials with the Aircraft Gun Mounting Establishment and the Air Fighting Development Unit, before a brief period of service with 5 Squadron in July-August 1941.
