After retirement by the USN this S-2 was ferried to MASDC in Feb. 74 andstored under 1S0447. After three years it was rescued from the desert by the Turkish Navy serving until 1994 and subsequent display at the Turkish AF Museum. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
