On display on the flight deck of CV-10 USS Yorktown at Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum. Normally two fixed wing ASW squadrons were embarked on a CVS, with requirements subsequently changing for the CVA and CV. This S-2E belongs to VS-23 "Black Cats" which did three Vietnam deployments aboard USS Yorktown. Along with VS-25 "Golden Eagles" also flying the Tracker, the two fixed wing ASW units with tail code 'NU' flew under CVSG-55 that was operational till 27 Sep 1968. The 70 million candlepower searchlight is visible on the starboard wing. This variant had 16 JEZEBEL sonobuoys / nacelle.

Well-inside the Chao Yang University of Technology a number of aircraft can be found. Next to the running track of the university, this immaculate S-2T Tracker with serial 2226 can be found.

An impressive look with this sharkmouth and blue-ish paint make this Taiwnese S-3T Tracker stand out at the Hau Te Vocational School of Technology in Jiading, north of Kaohsiung.

On September 30, 1975 taken out of service. Since 1981 part of the aircraft collection of the NMM in Soesterberg.

Quite the looker, this S-2T can be found in a navy park in Tainan, centered around the destroyer Doyang.

On September 30, 1975 the '159' and the '160', the last two Trackers of the MLD, were withdrawn from service. The '159' went to the Aviodome (Schiphol) as a gate-guard and in 2003 it moved over to it's new location, the Aviodrome at Lelystad AP.

Gate guardian at the entrance of the 30° Stormo, when the wing and its 86 Gruppo was still operating from Sardinia. 30 Stormo was disbanded and 86 Gruppo transferred and incorporated in 41° Stormo at Sigonella. This gate guardian had been reported to have been moved and stored partially disassembled.

Cal Fire took delivery of 23 upgraded Grumman S-2 Tracker. Completely rebuilt by Marsh Aviation in Mesa, AZ, these aircraft kept the original Grumman airframes but were equppied with new wiring, internal parts and - most important - turbine engines. Due to the extend of the rebuild, they are now considered Marsh built, and not Grumman anymore. The last aircraft were delivered in 2005, with one (registered N449DF) suffering an accident on October 7, 2014, while combating a fire in the Yosemite National Park. N445DF used to be US Navy BuNo 152345.

This unmarked S-2D Tracker arrived already in the sixties at AMARC and was transferred to the USAF inventory at the storage depot on 5 May 197. It left the depot on 1 June 1967 and returned to service. It was modified to ES-2D and returned to AMARC as a former RAW-83 aircraft with code/modex 7R-29 on 26 April 1971 It received inventory code 1S351.

The history of this Tracker remains a mystery. It is supposed to be former USN 136595 which was delivered to the JMSDF as 4108 in 1957 and was last noted there in 1976. In 1978, it appeared in the US civil register as N207AK (to be used as fire bomber by the State of Alaska), but apparently it was never taken up as such. In 1995, it emerged in the Seoul war memorial, initially with serial 6707, which is former USN Tracker 136707 (c/n 616). Some reports indicate that the latter aircraft indeed was delivered to the RoKAF in 1972 and later went to the navy. So 6595 might be fake.

Delivered in 1964 and served VS-28, VS-24, VS-34 and lastly VS-73, NAF Detroit. Ferried to the museum in 1975 and like several of the externally stored aircraft has been a victim of hurricane damage over the years

Not sure about the identity of this one. Stored at Davis-Monthan AFB with park code 1S082 in 1966. Sold in 1982 and moved to the Allied Aircraft yard. Still there in 1992. Later scrapped.
