On display at Gifu-Kakamigahara Air and Space Museum. This Starfighter was flown by 201st Hikotai, which was established for training F-104J pilots. The unit changed to a fighter/interceptor role on the F-104J from 1964 till disbandment in 1974. The aircraft ended its service with the Air Proving Wing, which was formed in Apr 1974.
