The J.C.6 was developed to Army specification A.2/45 for an observation aircraft in competition with the Auster M/N. Neither aircraft was selected and the role was filled by a conventional Auster, the AOP6. The J.C.6 was Heston's last aircraft design. Photo from: Imperial War Museums
