Eight Harvards were allocated to 90 Tactical Airfield Unit between December 1975 amnd January 1976. The Harvards were deployed to Ruacana on the Angolan border in support of the SA Army's withdrawal from Angola following Operation Savannah. They were also given abbreviated serial numbers. 7517 is here seen at Dunnottar prior to deploying to border area. This airframe is still active as N7517 in 2024.
