Slingsby Petrel from 1939 and one of only 3 built. Part of the contingent from the Vintage Glider Club, some of which participated in the display on the following day. Registered as G-ALPP in May 1949 when the MoCA decreed that all sailplanes should receive Class A registrations, only for this decree to be rescinded around July 1950 (and revived in 2007!). Allocated BGA651 in July 1950. Subsequently to Ireland as IAC101, IGA101 and EI-101 before returning to the UK as BGA651. Current in 2024.
