The fuselage of G-ALDG arrived at Duxford from Gatwick in January 1981. It had been retired from flying duties by Silver City Airways in 1962. After this, the fuselage was used by Caledonian for cabin crew training before being passed to the Gatwick Fire Service, who used it for smoke evacuation training. The Duxford Aviation Society took it on charge when it was longer needed for this purpose. It is now displayed at Duxford in BOAC colours.
