Given the strong southerly wind on the day, taxied from the mouth of the Campbell River well out into Discovery Passage before commencing its takeoff run. Delivered new to B.C. Yukon Air Service in 1956 as CF-IGF. Transferred to The Fleetwood Logging Co. in 1957. Joined Vancouver Island Air as C-FIGF in 1988. Registered to Wahkash Contracting at Campbell River in 2002. Moved to Smithers, BC with Tsyata Aviation in 2016 and on to Whitehorse, YT with Allan Air in 2018. This photo is copyright © David A.
