Given the strong southerly wind on the day, taxied from the mouth of the Campbell River well out into Discovery Passage before commencing its takeoff run. Delivered new to B.C. Yukon Air Service in 1956 as CF-IGF. Transferred to The Fleetwood Logging Co. in 1957. Joined Vancouver Island Air as C-FIGF in 1988. Registered to Wahkash Contracting at Campbell River in 2002. Moved to Smithers, BC with Tsyata Aviation in 2016 and on to Whitehorse, YT with Allan Air in 2018.

Turning into the mouth of the Campbell River, Vancouver Island BC to return to its base in the inner harbour after landing out in Discovery Passage. Registered to Wahkash Contracting Ltd.

Delivered to BC Yukon January 20, 1955, this Beaver was a workhorse for the airline until sold in April 1988. The aircraft continued to fly in British Columbia well into the next century and is current with Alkan Air in Whitehorse, YT from 2018 at the time of uploading.

After being used for many years in the logging business this Beaver was sold to a new owner in Alberta. Seen as Corilair Charter's sched flight returns to its base
