This is a rare photo of the only USAC Turbo Express ever converted. Ex USAAF 43-49483. To RCAF KK160, N502PA. Converted in July 1982 to USAC Turbo Express by the United States Aircraft Corp. (USAC) at Van Nuys, CA, and registered N300TX. The aircraft was acquired by Basler in 1987 as N300BF and was converted to the Basler BT-67 ptototype. Briefly leased to Mali AF as TZ-389 (2) from Apr 1997 until Aug 1997, then returned to Basler in the US, again as N300BF.
