Delivered to South African Airways, or Suid-Afrikaanse Lugdiens if you will, 18 December 1969 and named after one of South Africa's major cities like the rest of the SAA 707s, East London and Oos-Londen in Afrikaans. To Luxair 5 August 1978 as LX-LGS, then to Royal Jordanian as JY-AFQ 12 April 1978 before returning to South Africa and Safair as ZS-LSF. Leased to Libera World 25 August 1989 as EL-TBA, but it is unclear if taken on charge. To the SAAF as 1421 1 May 1995 serving with 60 Sqd before being retired in 2004 and the nose exhibited at the SAA Museum at Rand.
