This 1939 built Cub has probably no military history. ZP-32 (Airship Squadron 32) was stationed at NAS Moffett Field after the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. The serial on the cowling is derived from the civil registration. 26053 was assigned to a Hellcat, that was transferred to the British Fleet Air Arm as FN400.
