Built as U-10D 66-14350 for the USAF it served until retired to the MASDC "boneyard" at Tucson in 1973. Civilianised as N67697 to the US Dept. of Agriculture Texas Screwworm Eradication Program, in 1978 it was transferred to US Dept. of Interior Alaska Fish and Game service and converted from U-10D to H-295 status. In 1980 it was sold into private ownership and on 11th July 1993 was damaged when the right undercarriage leg collapsed on landing at a gravel strip at Talkeetna, AK. After repair in 1995 it was re-registered N295B and is still current on the US register with an Alaskan owner.
