After touching down on Lac La Ronge, gliding in to the Transwest Air base on the shore to tie up for the night. The crewman is poised on the float to pass the mooring rope to a colleague deckhand who is waiting at the end of the landing stage. Delivered new to the Union of Burma Air Force in 1958 as UB651. Given a Vazar conversion to PT-6 turbine power by Aerolite Industries at Vancouver in 1990 and then served with Athabasca Airways at La Ronge.
