The Mexican Air Force flew the T-33 from 1961 when 15 former USAF AT-33As entered service. 4019 was delivered as JE-019, the first of a batch of 40 ex USAF T-33As delivered in 1986. In 1998 all surviving T-33s were relocated to Esc 402 at Ixtepec before the type was finally withdrawn in July 2007.
