Delivered to the USAF in 1976, started to serve the 58th Tactical Training Wing ('LA') at Luke (AZ) and from 1984 the 325th TTW ('TY') at Tyndal (FL) (as pictured). The Eagle was then transferred to the 33rd FW at Eglin AFB (FL) in 1992 and became an instructional airframe up to the late nineties. From November 2011, the Eagle is preserved at Eglin.
