The 110th TFS of the Missouri ANG flew the Thunderstreak between June 1957 and July 1962. From October 1961 it was deployed to Toul, France because of the Berlin Crisis. I don't suppose all these markings were worn at that time, also because the squadron's aircraft were flown by 169th and 170th TFS pilots from Illinois, too, while based in Europe.
