Delivered to the USAF in 1976, saw a long career flying with tailcodes 'FF', 'EG', 'TY' (as pictured), and again 'EG', before it was used as an instructional airframe with the 33rd TFW at Eglin from October 1992 onwards. Since June 2009, the Eagle is preserved as 79-0078 of the 58th FS, to represent a double MiG-killer from the Gulf War 1990-1991, nearby the USS Alabama in Mobile (FL).
