Acquired by the museum in 1988, this is C-46A 43-47350 marked as R5C-1 BuNo 39611. As this C-46 never was assigned to the USMC and the Air Mobility Command Museum at Dover AFB, Delaware did not have a C-46 in their collection, the aircraft was transferred to Dover in May of 2023.
