Assigned to the 475th WEG. Transfered as ex 107th TFS/127th TFW aircraft to MASDC on 15 Mar'79, received inventory code FE478. Converted with Tracor, Mojave (CA) as QF-100D. Damaged when hit by an AIM-120 fired by a F-15 while operating from Holloman AFB on 22 Feb'88. The drone was recovered at Northrop Strip but was not repaired. In mid-'96 it went to the Evergreen Heritage Collection at Marana (AZ) with intentions for restauration with parts of F-100 56-2992, but that was cancelled. The Hun was then restored and moved to the Planes of Fame, Chino (CA). Click the serial for all pictures!
