Repositioning at its home base dock on Cordingley Lake. Delivered new to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police as DHC-3 Otter CF-MPY in 1959. Acquired by Wardair in 1979 as personal transport for its founder, Max Ward. From 1985, served with a number of other Canadian operators, mainly in British Columbia. In 2000, converted to a turbine powered Vazar DHC-3T by Guardian Aerospace of Vanderhoof, BC on behalf of operator Alpine Lakes Air of Smithers, BC.
