The Fokker S.IV was a well-known trainer type in the Luchtvaart Afdeling (LVA, or Army Aviation department) of the Netherlands Army. It became the Royal Netherlands Air Force in 1953. The S.IV could be powered by several engine types, most usually the Mongoose engine. 108 however had the 110 h.p.
