Taken on strength in 1961, this T-38 Talon was stored at MASDC in 1971. Later used for many years by the USAF Orientation Group in traveling exhibits across the USA that inform the American public about Air Force people, equipment, and contributions to the country. A part of the National Museum of the Untied States Air Force by 1997, it was loaned to the City of Wasco, CA and later the Kern County Museum for display at Meadows Field, Bakersfield, CA.
