Manufacturing of the Citation 550 started in 1978, and the one shown here was one of the first to leave the production line. Registered in Austria from 1991 till 1995, the aircraft was active with several regs until October 2024; at this point it was found at an airstrip in Venezuela registered as "XB-SFY", obviously abandoned after a drug flight.
