Former 122nd TFS/159th TFG of New Orleans ANG (LA) went into storage at AMARC on 27 June 1979 and received inventory code FE553. It left the storage depot for Tracor Flight Systems Inc., Mojave (CA) on 19 July 1989. It was converted to QF-100F and received code 391. The Super Sabre drone was written off by impact of an AIM-7M over the Gulf of Mexico on 13 September 1990.
