Formerly XE977 with the RAF, this Vampire was acquired by the Irish Air Corps in 1963 for ground instruction. It was painted into Air Corps colours after it was no longer needed for this role. In 2006 it was moved to the National Museum in the former Collins Barracks, Dublin City. This photo is copyright © Fergal Goodman, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
