Lifted off from the Naval "H" on Prestwick's North Side calling EXCALIBUR88, and now departing, initially on a Runway 30 heading, for a sortie up the Firth of Clyde. Taken on charge new by the Royal Navy in 1999 as a Merlin HM1. Upgraded to HM2 status in 2014. This photo is copyright © David A.
