slide from Eberhard Kunze. - Trans Texas Airways was the first operator of this DC-9, built in 1967. Converted into a freighter, the aircraft was only used by Kalitta Air for two years between 1992 and 1994 before being sold to USA Jet, who operated it until about 2005. Seen in storage a Detroit Willow Run in 2011, later broken up. This photo was added on 9 April 2025, and has since been viewed 48 times. |
