At the time this image was taken the helicopter was with 819 NAS based at HMS Gannet (Prestwick). On 4th September 1998 it ditched in the North Sea 13.5 Nm North of Sheringham in Norfolk. It was recovered but never flew again. The bulk of the fuselage ended up in a paintball park in Essex.
