An early Mustang I built before the P-51 type number was allocated. Newly delivered to 613 (City of Manchester) Squadron and still wearing the initial NA-applied camouflage. The code letters are superimposed over the serial. Used by 613 in the Army co-operation role. From the squadron archive.
