This Avro Rota was one of twelve built by Avro in 1934 and 1935. The type was a licence built Cierva C-30A and it was intended for Army co-operation but they were later used for calibration of coastal radar for which their low flying speed made them eminently suitable This photo is copyright © Mick Bajcar, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
